This is a good episode but at the end John details how a friend poached a deer in Illinois. Panther creek is only open to nonresident hunters for 3 or 4 one week seasons prior to the gun season. Nonresidents have to draw a permit for one week so if his friend went back down in December to hunt again and shot a deer as a non resident he might have had the bow tag but he didn’t have the site specific permit to be hunting there at that time!
